MUN JobHunter (aka JobHunter OS) leans hard into a cyberpunk 'Citadel' aesthetic for a fully local-first AI career agent — no signup, no server account, everything (target role, cognitive profile, taste archetype, saved jobs) lives in browser localStorage. The onboarding wizard is unusually thorough (6 steps: role, industry, two open-ended cognitive-style questions, taste inputs, work preferences) before generating a genuinely personalised archetype ('Systems Pragmatist' / 'Systems Simplifier') and a live search across Jobicy + Arbeitnow that returned 30 real, freshly-scored job matches for a Senior Product Designer.

Friction points
  • Onboarding completion bug
    Clicking 'GET STARTED' after the AI profile scan does not persist onboardingComplete=true in the jh-user-profile localStorage record. Every fresh session (or hard reload of any /jobs, /saved, /social route) bounces back to the AI-profile scan screen instead of the real dashboard — this would strand real visitors after they finish onboarding. Our test worked around it by patching the flag directly.
