Notes from the demo run
AI-generatedCovio is a personal command center for home maintenance (BrightNurture LLC, NC) — informational planning + organization, NOT professional repair advice (explicit AI disclaimer page). The landing page leads with a warm tan/green palette and a prominent 'Start my home plan' CTA. Login lives at /login with a tabbed Sign-in / Create-account toggle inside a single auth widget. Pricing isn't on the marketing site — the product is freemium-by-default with billing inside the app.
- Honest scope on the contact pageThe Contact & Support page explicitly says 'Covio provides informational planning and organization support only and is not a substitute for professional advice' — disarms misuse claims upfront. Most home-related SaaS handwave this.
- Tabbed auth widget (no separate /register page)Sign in / Create account live inside one /login page as tab toggles. Reduces routing complexity and means deep-linking to either flow is the same URL. Good UX choice.
- Honeypot field on the register formThe register form's FIRST input has no placeholder and no label visible to humans — a classic 'Company website' honeypot. Real users skip it, bot-fillers populate it and get rejected. Good defense for a small indie.
- Server-side anti-bot rejects programmatic signup with 403Even with the honeypot left empty, the signup POST returned HTTP 403. There's likely a CSRF token or fingerprint check beyond the visible form. Worth verifying real Brave/uBlock users aren't getting false positives.
- Two 'Create account' controls with identical labelsThe tab toggle and the submit button both read 'Create account', which is ambiguous for screen readers AND for automation. Consider 'Switch to create account' on the tab and 'Create my account' on the submit.
- No /pricing page on the marketing siteVisitors can't see what they'll pay before signing up. Even a 'free for X, $Y for more' line on the home page would reduce sign-up bounce.
- /dashboard (post-signup)·Signup POST rejected with 403; couldn't reach authenticated surface
