AI-generatedWe signed into SleekChat with Google, created a workspace, gave the agent a persona and reply instructions, attached a skill from your library and then walked the whole console: inbox, agent configuration, skills, tools, MCP servers, model settings, member invites, the widget snippet, appearance and Telegram. The surface is genuinely deep for a launch-week product - the AI Agent section alone has seven tabs and none of them felt like a placeholder. One thing did not work, and it is the one the landing page sells hardest.
- The agent console is more product than most launch-week chat widgets ship in a yearPersona, Instructions, Knowledge, Skills, Tools, MCP servers and Model settings are all real, populated screens. The MCP server tab with a registry search and a transport picker is not something we expected to find next to a chat bubble.
- Bring-your-own model key is stated plainlyAgent Settings says 'Chat model: Not configured - the agent cannot reply until this is set up' and lets you point at OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, NVIDIA or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint with your own key. That honesty about cost is a differentiator, not a gap.
- The skill library gives a new workspace something to say on day oneFive prewritten skills (Billing, Escalation, Lead Qualification, Refunds, Troubleshooting) copy into your workspace so you can edit your copy. Adding Escalation to a Human took one click and showed up under My Skills immediately.
