AI-generatedWe drove ApplyWall end to end with a real account: signed in, opened a group wall, and worked a card through discussion, assignment and the three columns. The sticky-note board reads instantly and the 0/3 done counter is the nicest touch, it tells you where a wall stands before you read a single card. The thing that will cost you signups is smaller than the product: your tab still says Create Next App.
Highlights
- Progress counter earns its place0 / 3 done sits at the top of the wall and updates the moment a card moves to Done. That single line answers the question a board usually makes you count.
- Discussion lives on the cardThe comment thread opens over the board instead of taking you to another page, so you never lose your place on the wall.
- New wall is two decisionsName plus Personal or Group, and you are on the board. No project template picker, no invite wall before you can see anything.
Friction points
- Tab title is still Create Next AppEvery ApplyWall tab, bookmark and shared link reads Create Next App. One metadata export in app/layout.tsx fixes it, and it is the first thing a teammate sees when you send them a wall.
- Signing up drops you back on the log-in formAfter Sign up we landed on /login and had to type the same email and password again. Signing the new user in on success removes a step at the exact moment someone is deciding whether to stay.
