Notes from the demo run
AI-generatedTelescope is a curation social network: people you follow ('curators') share recommendations — products, places, content — grouped into collections, and you build a personal feed by subscribing to them. Sign-in is one Google click (better-auth); onboarding is a clean two beats (subscribe to a few curators, then curate your first rec) that drops you into a rich masonry feed. Recommendation pages are genuinely nice — a Place rec renders an embedded Google Map, photos, curator attribution and a Type/Category panel.
- One-click Google sign-inContinue-with-Google (better-auth) landed us straight into onboarding — no password step.
- Rich recommendation pagesA Place rec (SKIN1004) shows an embedded Google Map, address + rating, photo carousel, curator, Type and Category — far more than a bare link card.
- Clear curate composer'Curate' lets you pick Product / Place / Content and paste a link — a simple, legible primitive for the whole product.
- Feed has no pagination boundaryThe main feed renders as one very long masonry (our full-page capture came out ~45,000px tall) with no visible 'load more' or virtualization — it gets heavy on scroll and memory as it grows.
- Onboarding lets you skip subscriptionsThe subscribe step's Continue is enabled with zero subscriptions, so a new user can land on a cold, empty feed. Requiring or auto-suggesting one follow would avoid the empty first impression.
